HOME Equipment Out in the Field Stories Store About Paranormal Symposium
Our most recent News is Sebastian Terry, the Australian young man who came to Canada to fulfill some of the items on his bucket list will be attending an investigation with us on the long weekend in September, Friday night, to fulfill another bucket list item, to stay at a haunted house...although we cannot disclose the location of this, the evening will be fun and scary I have no doubt...STAY TUNED for more after the investigation!
In 2010, we had a few residential investigations, all learning experiences. It was a neat investigation, everyone involved was great as well as the nature spirits, can be really mischivous beings to say the least.
Diane Ashworth is no longer with CLPI.
The Regina Leader Post did a write up on our team for the Halloween Section of their newspaper in 2009, they represented us famously, the team was very pleased with it. We are working on our symposium for 2010, lots of good stuff to come from that, you can view a synopsis on the symposium for 2009 on the website. Our team has attended Roche Percee with Sask Tel Max at the end of September 2008 for a segment that they aired on Max Magazine in October 2008. This entailed us being filmed doing an investigation at the site. Diane Ashworth and Brett Warner joined the team in 2008, see our about page for their information. Our group is now incorporated as a non profit organization! We are officially now called the Calling Lakes Paranormal Investigators Inc. On October 31st, 2008 in the early morning we were on Big Dog Radio 97.2 FM out of Regina, it was a fun experience, they were very respectful of our endeavors. Amy and I advertised the symposium on CTV Regina in October the noon hour show. The symposium was a huge success with well over 300 people in attendance. Sask Tel Max did a follow up segment on the symposium, Jeremy (the videoaugrapher) surprised us by attending to do a follow up on the event and interviewed us and some of the other vendors, it was aired on Max Magazine in October as well, Max Magazine also attended the 2009 symposium and did a small informational piece on our event and it also aired on Max Magazine in October of 2009. We were (Amy and I) guests on the John Smalley radio show in October of 2009, this was a lot of fun even though he is a bit of a skeptic, it went well and he was very respectful of our team and what we do. Most recently, Amy was a participant in a round table disucssion on on an internet paranormal radio show called Nocturnal Frequency, the Link is on our about page, we think she represented our group famously, she was a guest along with 2 other group members out of the United States representing their own groups, Our third annual "Extraordinary Fair - The Paranormal Symosium will be on September 11 and 12, 2010 at the Country Squire Inn, Luxton Room in Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask, Canada. We are working on some presenters and lots of booths for the paranormal and a few of the holistic world. I will update the site as planning progresses with a schedule of presenters and vendors/tables for this annual event to be held in our area. CTV will be sponsoring our event again this year, they are a big help. We will probably be doing the News at noon show two times in 2010, in he spring/summer and closer to the event. I'll keep you posted on news as it happens to us. Due to now having the symposim stuff, I had to stop doing the paranormal chronicles for now.
We are a paranormal investigation team called the Calling Lakes Paranormal Investigators Inc. situated in Saskatchewan Canada. The purpose of developing this site is to share our investigations with people on the web and let them know what investigations we have done so far and what we will be doing in the future. We are here to help take some of the fear out of what people are experiencing paranormally. We also want to know your experiences with the paranormal, please feel free to email us at Calling Lakes Paranormal Investigators Inc. there will be a page added to our site that will have your stories on it, this is a work in progress. If you want our team to look into doing an investigation for you or if you require assistance contact us at the above link.
Two of our investigators did some work with Director Steven Rumbelow and his Executive Assistant Rachel Haughenberry on a paranormal series called "Beyond" on the Space Channel, this is a really informative and exciting series with Alannah Myles as the host. If you want to catch an episode it airs on Saturdays at 5 pm EST and Sundays at 8 am EST. I believe now there are only reruns on, but I'm not sure of the times.
Ghost Hunters episode filmed on location at Fort San Tuberculosis Sanitorium. Ghost hunters Jan Drummond, Amy Drummond, Gwen Lowe, John Pawelko, Shaun Drummond, Jody Hancherow, Karla Fletcher and Courtney Christiensen, were some of the crew for this episode, there were other ghost hunter enthusiasts that helped out as well. For a copy of this episode visit the "Beyond" site and for a copy of "Spirits of the San - A Documentary of the Paranormal" visit our site store.
