NEWS

In 2010, we had a few residential investigations, all learning experiences. We encountered our first Nature Spirit, it was a neat investigation, everyone involved was great as well as the nature spirits, they can be really mischevous beings to say the least, in October we encountered what we believe to be an earth power spot, where a few of the team were able to step into an other dimensional area on a farm that belongs to a friend of the team, very interesting for sure and would love to go back again, we visited this spot a couple of times.  A few others I won't mention, this seemed to be the year for outdoor investigations more so than inside, wow what a great year so far!

We had some paranormal books donated via a parapsychologist from Regina, Saskatchewan, Professor Buddy Winn, with my own collection of books and the new donated ones it has turned out to be the start of quite a library, although I don't lend books out, people are welcome to come and sit in the meditation/library room and read as often as they like as long as I'm at home, come relax, research, drink tea and absorb all the paranormal information at your fingertips.

Our most recent News is Sebastian Terry, the Australian young man who came to Canada to fulfill some of the items on his bucket list will be attending an investigation with us on the long weekend in September, Friday night, to fulfill another bucket list item, to stay at a haunted house...although we cannot disclose the location of this, the evening will be fun and scary I have no doubt...STAY TUNED for more after the investigation!

Update...the investigation with Sebastian Terry was a success, as of yet we have not found anything substantial on our video footage of the school, we did capture lots of obs zooming around on cameras which people seemed to find quite interesting to watch at the time, but no entities or evp's, our psychics picked up on lots of spirits at the school, but nothing to substantiate them on any of our devices or cameras. It was an exciting night for all and it will be added to our archives.   We are very grateful they allowed us to attend their facility, hopefully in the future we will be putting up some video footage to the site and other interesting stuff, for now check out our Paranomal Links page for lots of interesting paranormal sites.

The Regina Leader Post did a write up on our team for the Halloween Section of their newspaper in 2009, they represented us famously, the team was very pleased with it. We are working on our symposium for 2010, lots of good stuff to come from that, you can view a synopsis on the symposium for 2009 on the website.  Our team has attended Roche Percee with Sask Tel Max at the end of September 2008 for a segment that they aired on Max Magazine in October 2008.  This entailed us being filmed doing an investigation at the site. Diane Ashworth and Brett Warner joined the team in 2008, see our about page for their information. Our group is now incorporated as a non profit organization! We are officially now called the Calling Lakes Paranormal Investigators Inc.   On October 31st, 2008 in the early morning we were on Big Dog Radio 97.2 FM out of Regina, it was a fun experience, they were very respectful of  our endeavors.   Amy and I advertised the symposium on CTV Regina in October the noon hour show.  The symposium was a huge success with well over 300 people in attendance.   Sask Tel Max did a follow up segment on the symposium, Jeremy (the videoaugrapher) surprised us by attending to do a follow up on the event and interviewed us and some of the other vendors, it was aired on Max Magazine in October as well, Max Magazine also attended the 2009 symposium and did a small informational piece on our event and it also aired on Max Magazine in October of 2009. We were (Amy and I) guests on the John Smalley radio show in October of 2009, this was a lot of fun even though he is a bit of a skeptic, it went well and he was very respectful of our team and what we do. Most recently, Amy was a participant in a round table disucssion on on an internet paranormal radio show called Nocturnal Frequency, the Link is on our about page, we think she represented our group famously, she was a guest along with 2 other group members out of the United States representing their own groups, a group of University Students from Regina did a short documentary on the team called "Voices In The Dark", it turned out fantastic, they did a great job I think, way to go guys and gals!  Our third annual "Extraordinary Fair - The Paranormal Symosium will be on September 11 and 12, 2010 at the Country Squire Inn, Luxton Room in Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask, Canada.  We are working on some presenters and lots of booths for the paranormal and a few of the holistic world.  I will update the site as planning progresses with a schedule of presenters and vendors/tables for this annual event to be held in our area. CTV will be sponsoring our event again this year, they are a big help. We will probably be doing the News at noon show two times in 2010, in he spring/summer and closer to the event. I'll keep you posted on news as it happens to us. Due to now having the symposim stuff, I had to stop doing the paranormal chronicles for now. It is almost December 2010 and another symposium coming up, looking forward to it, hopefully will have someone to represent the UFO side of the paranormal attend next event stay tuned for more in 2011.

We are a paranormal investigation team called the Calling Lakes Paranormal Investigators Inc. situated in Saskatchewan Canada.  The purpose of developing this site is to share our investigations with people on the web and let them know what investigations we have done so far and what we will be doing in the future.  We are here to help take some of the fear out of what people are experiencing paranormally.   We also want to know your experiences with the paranormal, please feel free to email us at Calling Lakes Paranormal Investigators Inc. there will be a page added to our site that will have your stories on it, this is a work in progress.   If  you want our team to look into doing an investigation for you or if you require assistance contact us at the above link.

We have produced a video called "Spirits Of The San - A Documentary Of The Paranormal", and "Haunted The Ghosts of Fort San"these videos consist of interviews with people that have first hand experiences with various ghosts at this old haunted tuberculosis sanatorium as well as actual footage of orbs, ectoplasm and an entity in the shape of a nurse, as well lots of interviews of ghost stories of the Sea Cadets and officers that attended the site for many summers at the camp, one of the ghosts that has resided there for years and one of the most seen at the site we believe we have figured out who it is...

Currently the Fort San site is closed to the public and is under development."

Our third video "Haunted - The Kerrobert Court House" is now available, we did many research trips to this historic and beautiful site, we captured orbs, did interviews of people with first hand experience as well as an entity captured in the basement:  Currently The Kerrobert Court House is operational as an art gallery and museum.

Two of our investigators did some work with Director Steven Rumbelow and his Executive Assistant Rachel Haughenberry on a paranormal series called "Beyond"  that aired on the Space Channel, this is a really informative and exciting series with Alannah Myles as the host.

For a copy of "Spirits of the San - A Documentary of the Paranormal" or any of our other videos visit our site store.

For any copies of the Beyond Series visit the Paranormal Links page and visit the Beyond website.
