This weekend (April 7th, 2007) we went to a couple of abandoned houses that were rumored to be haunted. The team had many experiences at the one house, but not so much at the other. One experience that happened was when one of our crew, who was a visiting team member this night, was snooping around with the rest of us just to check things out before started anything. He went up into the attic and before he could start filming he asked who was in the other two rooms just off to the side, the crew checked and there was no one in any of those two rooms, he said he saw a dark figure walking around in one of the rooms, due to there being holes the ceiling he wasn't sure which room it was, it was concluded in seconds which room it was as he was looking in the direction behind him. When he realized there was no one there, he got a bit creeped out and quickly exited the attic. That was the beginning.
In regards to the above house, I called one of our investigator's on an unrelated matter a couple of days later and he began to tell me a story of what happened after he left for home after midnight on the 7th of April. We had been at the second haunted house and got some really nice orb and ectoplasm activity, but due to cold weather were not able to stay and thorougly investigate so we called it quits for the evening. When the investigator was on his way home he went by the one house that we had previously visited. He noticed a small, bright, round light up around the top of the house, it was going around the top of the house and in and out of windows. He said it would come out one window, hover for a bit, then disappear inside and come out another window. He was fascinated by this, but would not approach too closely as he was by himself. He said there was no reflection and it was not a flash light, this house is standing in the middle of a field with nothing around it, no lights, nothing.
Some coldness was felt behind Harry when John was feeling the presence in the scream house and Nikki just felt cold spots , had something touch her, and also saw two shadow figures upstairs towards the end of the hallway in the house of screams. (The Zaporozen Family)
The only thing I sensed was when we went back the second time to the second house, when we were all leaving I was bringing up the rear in the basement and I had this intense feeling that I wasn't the last one leaving the basement. I really have no problem being in the dark, but that time I was very scared about what was behind me. I think i might have even have run into you trying to get up the basement staires as fast as I could. (Jan Zaporozen).
We returned to House 1 the following weekend (April 14th, 2007) and had more stuff happen to the team. We had a different team with us this time. One of the historical events of House 1 is that a long time ago when the house was abandoned there was still furniture in it, you could move furniture around and when you returned it would be moved back. Also a long time ago people started taking furniture out of the old abandoned house and took it home only to find that the next day it would be gone and they would find it back at the old house right where they took it from. Eventually all the furniture apparently was taken outside, piled in the yard and burned. Although there is no furniture in it now, we decided to move this old spring frame that was on the ground and a door that was off it's hinges to see what would happen and soon as we moved stuff, Kirk saw ectoplasm on video as well as some orbs. Jan heard someone say "baby" and thought it was one of the two team members with her, neither one had said it, as they would also have no reason to say it. Almost all of the team expereinced some form of paranormal event that night. Jan saw a black shadow cross in front of the team in the center of the room. Amy had something touch her face, she described it as a finger pushing and running down her cheek. We could hear footsteps up above us, but we all knew there was no one in human form up there. In one of the upstairs rooms, two team members could feel the floor vibrating under them. We have some pics of black mist added to our photogallery page and seemed to be backed up with the fact that some of our team members on our second visit saw a black mist go across the floor and it was also spotted on the ceiling in the same room where the pics were taken previously. Kerrobert Court House
An investigation that we felt had an ominous presence was the Kerrobert Court House. Upon our arrival to this site, our host showed us around the premises, very quickly some of the crew were being touched. Two crew members saw someone go up the stair well but no one had. The second night at the site, while seated in the court room with the rest of the crew, a crew member had seen a large white orb go flying over her head and shortly after she was rubbed on the head by something unknown and was so disturbed by the presence she had to leave the room. Another one of our crew was able to see the presence which looked to her like a very large, black ominous robed figure with arms outstretched that was so big it engulfed the area behind three of our crew members. The presence moved to a corner of the room and hovered there watching us for the rest of the time we were in the courtroom. We presumed afterwards that it might have been a judge from years past. While seated in the courtroom the crew were seeing different sizes of orbs with the naked eye, as well as ectoplasm mists and a mysterious blue haze glowing in behind the judge's chambers, some of the other members of the crew were also being touched. Some crew members left the courtroom and returned to our quarters downstairs, while they were visiting they could hear us all walking around up behind the judge's chambers, they thought we were all finished and were waiting for us to come down. When we did emerge, we told them that we did not move from our spot in the middle of the courtroom and that there was no one walking around behind the judge's chambers. Fort San Tuberculosis Sanitarium
Our last and final visit to Fort San Sanitarium in 2006 was an eventful time. We brought in our main investigators Jan Drummond, Amy Drummond and John Pewalko along with other investigators, some of which have been with us on previous investigations, some were new and had a keen interest in paranormal investigations. We were lucky enough to be able to bring with us some people who are very psychically gifted. Two of these people we will call by their first names; Mavis and Martin. Mavis has been gifted since childhood with a strong ability to sense and foretell. Martin had some near death experiences later in his life which brought him the gift of being able to contact the other side. Mavis was helpful in letting us know if there was a ghost with us, she could sense them and see what they looked like, she was also able to sense residue of the past which ended up being very similar in nature to an event that Martin had mentioned in an interview we did with him about people being buried on the grounds. Martin saw past events that happened at the complex from the tuberculosis era. He was able to get names of ghosts that are still residing at the complex, we have not yet had an opportunity to investigate the validity of the names given. We split up into teams and began to investigate, one of the investigators was quite young and has what I like to call an extra senses gift, she was part of the team investigating the overflow in the morgue and had her leg touched, which frightened her as it would most people but she was able to hold her composure quite well. A picture was taken when she was being touched and a large red colored orb showed up beside her leg in the photo. One of the most exciting events was when five investigators decided to go up to the Second floor of the Main Building and look for orbs, one of the investigators was new and had never seen orbs live in front of a video camera before. While up there looking around with the video camera on but without the video camera recording (of course, isn't that always the way it works), they saw a little boy looking around the corner at them, they were amazed by what they saw, it was described by one investigator as magical, but scary and mesmerizing at the same time. Another event was in Pasqua Lodge Basement hallway where one of our seasoned investigators was being touched by, lets just say someone of the female persuasion, he could sense it was a lady and ironically it happened in the same spot where he was sitting during the filming of “Ghost Hunters” and the sound of a sewing machine was heard. When all footage and EVP's have been investigated we will add our findings to the site. This investigation will be included in our future Fort San video which is still a work in progress.
